Howdy. Has anyone managed to get giftops.c to compile correctly under DOS? I'm using turbo C and I tried all memory models from tiny to huge, but I can't get the program to work. I get sucessful compilations for all memory models except tiny and huge, but the small model .exe bombs at runtime (garbled output and `error 0:') and I get `out of memory' type erros with the medium, compact and large models. I was using a tiny (8K) test .gif, so memory problems shouldn't occur. Archie turned up no giftops.exe, but I would think that someone out there has ported this handy program to DOS... Thanks in advance for any help. -Rob -- rob.hutten@acadiau.ca 880139h@dragon.acadiau.ca hutten@agcrr.bio.ns.ca
