	An annual publication I'm editing has been laid out on a PC clone  
using Pagemaker for Windows. All 160 pages were output as 160 separate EPS  
files, because Pagemaker for Windows won't generate straight PS documents.
	About 1/4 of the pages have a "sidebar", an offset chunk of text  
which should be in Franklin Gothic (TrueType, remember). The typesetter  
received the files and found the sidebars printing in Avant Garde. Sure  
enough, upon checking the files he saw Avant Garde specified as the font  
to load. We thought at first it might be a problem with the Franklin  
Gothic TrueType font choosing Avant Garde as its Type 1 equivalent, so we  
changed the sidebar font to Helvetica TrueType (hoping Helvetica would  
then be specified in the EPS output as well). Unfortunately, Avant Garde  
popped up again. Nowhere in our design is Avant Garde intentionally used.
	I don't have a clear understanding of how a PostScript interpreter  
can make use of TrueType fonts, or why the EPS file is showing Avant Garde  
when Franklin Gothic and Helvetica are specified. This question may be  
somewhat obscure, but I'm at a total loss. I'm also in dire trouble if no  
one can help. I'd greatly appreciate any response by email or otherwise as  
soon as possible.
