PhoenixPage does use an enhanced screening mode which makes available more gray levels and finer screening. #include <blatantplug.tek> Tek has been shipping enhanced screening in color printers, both in our clone level-1 product, and in our genuine Adobe level-2 instruments for years. We offer 200+ gray levels, and l.p.i. numbers up to 80 (at the same time). Some products also have Tek's proprietary FinePoint error diffusion as well. We offer 4 different marking engine technologies (all color), with a wide array of PS RIP/controller combinations, all featuring various enhanced screening options.
