Posted on behalf of a colleague who doesn't have net access: At a company whom I recently worked for, we had a need to replace the enscript package from Adobe (we had upgraded from Transcript to NeWSPrint). As a result, I have available the sources to a decent enscript clone, called "nenscript" which implements most of the functionality of enscript. Features include: . Full implementation of gaudy mode . Works under MSDOS as well (is this a feature??) . Only handles Courier for text . Operates in landscape or portrait mode . Operates in one or two column mode . Full support for environment variables . optionally wraps long lines (pet peeve with enscript) If there is sufficient interest, I will package it up and put it somewhere FTP-able (including sources).
