I've seen a couple recent postings about schemes for compressing bit-map
images in Postscript. Has anyone written a utility for doing the same
thing, but for arbitrary Postscript code? Like, a filter that would take
any Postscript file, compress it, and prepend a bit of Postscript to the
front to take care of uncompressing it? It could be set up to be invoked
automatically by a print spooler, for example. It seems to me this would
be a great thing...
