Howdy Netpostscripters, I'm trying to change the baud rate on a QMS PS-810 printer and I don't know very much about using postscript dictionaries. The QMS manual is pretty poorly written on this note but I've managed to get into "interactive" mode by typing 'serverdict begin 0 exitserver' at the PS> prompt. I realize that I won't get any (positive) feedback, but I don't seem to be able to exit interactive mode once I'm in. Here's what I've typed in so far -- note that I've indicated all all carriage returns explicitly: statusdict begin <Return> 25 57600 setsccbatch <Return> end <Return> quit <Return> Nothing happens... The QMS manual isn't explicit about weather your supposed to use the last three <Return> characters, but I also tried '25 57600 setsccbatch end quit' all on the same line. I know I'm in interactive mode since I get error messages when I type erroneous stuff. Am I supposed to be getting back to the PS> prompt at this point? If not, How do I know the command executed successfully? What's the correct syntax -- exactly? Please E-mail if possible, Thanks ahead of time, David Munoz dgm1626@boeing.com
