My mailer bounced the following note. nenscript looks interesting, but please don't forget the OS/2 users. There are some problems with the makefile (shouldn't __STDC__ be defined so that the prototypes get used? I get problems if I don't use these.). With easy changes to the makefile, nenscript runs under OS/2. Context diff's follow. Original message: Thanks for nenscript. I've only briefly examined, as I do not have all of ghostscript loaded. In any case, your makefile.msc needs some modifications for MSC 6.00A to produce OS/2 executables. I have attached the file produced by 'diff -c makefile.msc makefile.os2', in case it can be of any help. Note: 1. your make line for the executable always fails, as the '.exe' is missing. 2. makefile.os2 will produce an OS/2 executable and a separate bound executable (will run under OS/2 and MSDOS). --darrel hankerson hank@ducvax.auburn.edu *** makefile.msc Sun Aug 23 18:46:52 1992 --- makefile.os2 Tue Sep 01 19:42:34 1992 *************** *** 1,8 **** ! # ! # Makefile ! # ! # $Id: Makefile,v 1.5 1992/05/26 23:15:19 craigs Exp $ ! # OBJ = .obj --- 1,9 ---- ! # Makefile for MSC 6.00A under OS/2. ! # Adapted with minor changes from the supplied makefile.msc ! # Files: ! # nenscript.exe OS/2 executable ! # nenscrib.exe OS/2 and MSDOS bound executable ! # Darrel Hankerson hank@ducvax.auburn.edu, 1-Sep-92 OBJ = .obj *************** *** 27,45 **** # US_DATE selects date of form MMM DD YY, else date is DD MMM YY # CFLAGS = -DUS_DATE $(DEBUG) !
