I have a problem of printing a PostScript file from a MAcIIci to an Apple Laserwriter using either SendPS or Apples Laser Font Utility. These are connected on a Localtalk network. After printing a few pages about 35 out of 150 pages, the program aborts saying " Printer "name" not on network. pl. ensure that both the Mac & Printer are connected". Even though physically they are connected, I cannot proceed beyond this stage. Is there a way of viewing the PostScript file before printing / debugging the file. Else how can we find the page number of the document from the postscript format file opened in Word / teachtext ? so that the erroneus page can be removed. This sort of problem might have been addressesd earlier. but I am a novice to postScript and this is the first time I am browsing this newsgroup. Hope somebody will be able to help me out.
