Geez, relax, will ya?  What this means is that different devices will 
probably require a different driver (gee, what a shock.  That already 
seems to be true).

Or maybe the folks in printing land will see if the device has a 680x0 and 
will use machine code if so, otherwise downloading rendering code in 
PostScript.  The truth is that _I don't know_ if any of this is correct; 
this is what I seem to remember from the cobwebs.  Printing ain't my job, 
a fact for which I thank God every day.
