Would it be possible for someone on the network to send me idiot-proof 
instructions for how to use Sam Leffler's TIFF conversion routines.  
I am looking for a program to convert TIFF files to PostScript.
I  retrieved the file v3.0.tr.Z from sgi.com using ftp in the BINARY mode.
I also zcat'd the file and obtained several files  and directories.

The problem is I'm not quite certain what to do now.  Is the file doc/TIFF6.ps
documentation for the whole package?  What about the man1 & man 3 directories.

Any help that could be offered would be great, but all I really need are
the steps for compilation that will yield the conversion from TIFF to PostScript.
