This is what I use with ghostscript to flip and image 90 degrees (for long edge feed printers using 11 inch paper):


  
  /showpage [/showpage load 792 0 /translate load 90 /rotate load] cvx bind def
  % for the first page
  792 0 translate
  90 rotate
