Could somebody help with the following problem?
I am trying to convert a drawing from a macintosh application which
does not support EPS format (Kaleidograph in this case) into an EPS
file in order to import it in a TeX document. I do the following:
1. Create a postscript file by rerouting the print file to a disk file.
2. Edit the PS file to make the first line read:
%!PS-Adobe-2.0 EPSF-1.2
3. Include a %%BoundingBox: comment
When I run TeX it recognizes the bounding box and leaves the appropriate
space but the DVIPS (I am using OzTeX) prints the drawing but on a
SEPARATE PAGE. Not speaking postscript, I tried several things e.g.
yanking all statements that had the word ``page'' or ``pages'' thinking that
they may tell the PS interpreter to print on a new page but the result
is always the same, I get the drawing on a separate page. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Ven. Polychronakos
PS I have not been reading this newsgroup and have no means of reading old
posts. I apologize if this question has been asked and answered 2**n
times.
