In article <1992Oct1.165705.19948@cs.brown.edu> jgm@cs.brown.edu (Jonathan Monsarrat) writes: > "I want to convert MacWrite (which makes PostScript output) to ASCII" I noticed this line in Mr. Monsarrat's article. My experience has been only with MSWord, which using the print dialog box, can be asked to output PS format. Unfortunately, I have also noticed that when I ask MSWord to produce PS files, it bitmaps *the entire document*. IMO, that bites the big one. Has anyone else experienced this? Does MacWrite give not bitmapped PS output? Any help appreciated. As a side note, I have noticed that MSWord 5.0's Equation editor *always* produces PS information. Kind of handy for those technical presentations I do in PS. Thanks for any info, gReg
