But what about an input model for DPS? What flavor of coordinates do I get when I click a mouse button in a DPS canvas? If I'm given the raw device coordinates how do I get the coordinates from the current graphics state without having to keep track of the graphics state myself? Do I get synchronous and asynchronous communications to the DPS interpreter? Please don't believe that I'm bad mouthing DPS. I'm facing the demise of NeWS and am hoping that DPS will enable me to salvage a couple of applications that I've got. I'ld also like to continue using PostScript as my drawing language and not have to face using some Xlib derivative. Joe Earley, Modular Mining Systems modular!earley@cs.arizona.edu
