The software that I'm using a bit weird, in that,
it needs a cut down version of Adobe's .AFM metric
namely it uses only

FontName
CharacterNumber XWidth           -- one for each character

(I believe it needs this to provide some screen fonts
and to know which fonts may be used!).

So
   can anybody provide me with such data for fonts
   other that the standard fonts Tms., Hel., Cor.
   for which I have the information.
