What is the best way to convert a parabola or hyperbola into Bezier curveto's ? Scaling/rotating circles seems to work well for ellipses but suppose you want clip a section of a parabola, is it better to determine to divide the (visible) arc into 1000 pieces and plot using polar coordinates or to determine to equivalent Beizer curve and use a clipped path? So I guess the question is whether a Beizer curve is drawn first and then clipped or whether the curve is drawn for the window... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - MD - marcus@eecs.ee.pdx.edu OR ....!uunet!tektronix!psueea!eecs!marcus - MD - "An empty stomach is not a good polotical advisor." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
