2 Postscript printing problems - Mac to Unix

Hi there...  I hate to bother everyone, but I'm at an impasse once
again.

First (most important) problem:

  I'm trying to print postscript generated on a Macintosh (System
7.01, untuned) running TeXtures; Using PS Trimmer and turning off
Background Printing, I got the text to print on the Unix box, but when
it hit a picture, it stopped with the following error code:

	Messages from last print job:
	%%[ Error: stackunderflow; OffendingCommand: exch ]%%
	%%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%

I don't know anything about Postscript as a language, so I can't do
anything about this myself.  I'm trying to find out what program was
used to create the drawings...

The second problem is that even with PS Trimmer, I couldn't get MS
Word documents to print, doing everything else the same.  I'm looking
for help with that, but it's not as urgent...

I tried the dmml package, but it didn't help...
