I have recovered a long time ago, in mod.computers.laser-printers (yes
in '86), that would perform the transformation A4 -> A5. It was
written by William Roberts (liam@cs.qmc.ac.uk). Here's a extract from
its README:
2xA4 - puts two logical sheets on each physical
sheet, rotated 90 degrees and reduced by a
factor of sqrt(2) (i.e. A4 -> A5).
I finally tried it and it fails due to a bad 2xA4.prologue.ps file:
invalid use of astore. Has this code been updated or does there exist
anything better?
Thanks in advance,
