A SIMILAR PROBLEM WAS JUST DISCUSSED IN LAST MONTHS MACUSER (MIGHT HAVE 
BEEN MACWORLD, BUT I DON'T HAVE THE ISSUES IN FRONT OF ME TO CHECK.)

ANYWAYS, I BELIEVE THAT THEY TRACED THE PROBLEM TO A IMAGES GENERATED
BY SUPERPAINT.  IF YOU REMEMBER THE COMPATIBILITY CHECKER THAT APPLE
PUT OUT A YEAR AGO, IT LISTED SUPERPAINT AS MOSTLY COMPATIBLE.  YOU JUST
FOUBD OUT WHY ITS NOT FULLY COMPATIBLE.

I BELIEVE THAT THEIR SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM WAS TO IMPORT THE PICTURES
INTO MACDRAW.  THATS A LOT MORE SYSTEM 7 FRIENDLY.  TAKE THEM INTO MACDRAW
AND FROM THERE TAKE THEM BACK INTO WORD.  THAT SHOULD CLEAR YOUR PROBLEM.
NOW, CHANCES ARE YOU DONT HAVE MACDRAW... I DON'T KNOW AY OTHER WOR AROUNDS.

MAYVE SOMEONE ELSE HAS A SOLUTION...
