How to make LW+ dump error messages onto paper

I've heard rumor of some small bit of code one can dump to
a laserwriter (I've got LW+s) to cause verbose error reporting
via the printed page. Presumably this code hooks on to the error
handler and just outputs all the diagnostics/error info followed
by a showpage.

If anyone has/knows of such a beastie, I'd like to hear from
you. If it matters, I'm driving LocalTalk based LW+s from the CAP papif
utility on Sun workstations, and am seeing lots of TeX/dvi2ps documents
getting quietly swallowed at the laserwriter.

Please mail me directly as I do not normally read this newsgroup!

Thanks in advance,
