I am currently working on a Silicon Graphics Crimson workstation running IRIX 4.0.5 unix operating system. I use a FORTRAN program which output a file which contains line printer vertical carriage control characters in column 1. I use the program lptops to convert the file to postscript for printing on a Apple laserwriter. My problem is the carriage control characters are not recognized by the lptops program. Does anyone know how I can convert the carriage control characters to something that lptops can understand? Thanks jchauvin@netcom.com -- John H.
