I just received a draft copy of:

Information technology - Text Communication - Standard Page Description
	Language (SPDL)

Draft International Standard ISO/IEC DIS 10180

What I want to build up is a consensus as to how this fits in with the
current release of PostScript(tm etc.), and what will be involved in creating
a front end filter to produce old fashion, Red Book, PostScript. Things which
are release 2 specific also need to be identified.

To this end I request input from Adobe et al and will post results if the
authors allow. I also request input from all people who originated this
document, since there is no historical information at all.

I will post results in about a month.
