I'm trying to build ghostscript on VMS. It comes with VMS-CC.MAK (which is really a *.COM) file for doing this. And it does seem to compile and run using only the X windows driver. When I try to build for supporting GIF output files it also compiles, but crashes when run. Has anyone gone through this and gotten the VMS version to work with output to a GIF (or PBM or other) file? I could really use any input anyone has on this or if anyone has any other method of getting from PostScript to image on VMS. thanks, Mark Klamerus
