I am interested in using ghostscript ONLY as an engine to convert any postscript/ascii text to G3 Fax format. I would just like to use it as a simple converter. Do I really need X11 to compile ghostscript for my purposes? Can I compile ghostscript wiithout X11 libs and if so... how. Please only reply to: don@scsmo1.attmail.com Because I do not read net news often. Thanx.... BTW, if you know of any other applications that will convert ascii and/or postscript to G3 format, please let me know.
