[] Many thanks to everyone who's discussed ways to round corners on fonts. I have some stroked PostScript fonts that look like "line" versions of Helvetica, Letter Gothic, etc. (designed for printing on pen plotters and lo-rez dot matrix) that should look really nice if I draw them with wide lines with rounded line-caps. [No, I don't think I can legally distribute said fonts. These were originally Atari ST "Publishing Partner" fonts, which, with "PageStream"'s font editor, were converted to downloadable PostScript. Sorry.] I'll just use my favorite desktop publishing program, "PageStream", to set type in those fonts, and then hack the PostScript code to use the thicker, rounded lines... Again, thanks. james "kibo" parry, 138 birch lane, scotia, ny 12302 usa / All colors are kibo%pawl.rpi.edu@itsgw.rpi.edu _________________________/ arbitrary. kibo@mts.rpi.edu / Kibology / Anything I say is the opinion userfe0n@rpitsmts.bitnet / is better! / of myself, and not of Xibo.
