Ascii file to postscript translator

We have purchased a AST laser printer that only understands Postscript.
We would like to print regular ascii text files on this printer.

Can anyone send me a C program that takes an ascii file and would encode
the text in Postscript and so output a file ready to send to this AST printer?

Thanks,
Brad Smith
