Thanks to the many responses I rec'd on EPS, I now have a fairly good
idea of what it is and have even been able to get my system to accept
EPS identified (header) files.

However, this is not enough, since I basically have to include GEM
created postcript, and GEM's ps is not EPS (at least not my version of
GEM). Some of the conversions seem obvious; others do not (at least to
me), so if anybody wants to share info on what it takes to convert
GEM ps into EPS, or if anybody knows of any existing utilities for
this purpose, I'd most appreciate hearing from you.

thanks in advance,

rich
