As a newcomer to writing direct Postscript definitions of Logos
for use in typesetting systems I am probably asking something everyone
on this net knows.

Can anyone provide me with a reference to a formal definition of
Encapsulated PostScript Format as mentioned and only briefly
described in Ventura and Pagemaker reference manuals?

I have got my program to work by following the PostScript language
Reference Manual Structuring conventions and the example given in
the Pagemaker manual but would like to be less hit and miss.
