I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the new Weitek chips that are
used in the new Qume printer? Having read one paragraph in a local
(Australian) magazine I have been unable to find any other reference to them.
They are the XL-8200 (XL-8236 & XL-8237). The printer (CrystalPrint II I think)
uses Bitstreams fonts and a PostScript interpreter.
So if anyone knows anything about the chips could they please contact me by
e-mail or if there seems to be some interest here, post it to the news group.
Thanks
Marc
