:<3) Are the AFM files for the Apple LaserWriter built-in fonts available?

:They come with the Adobe Transcript software. The AFM information can also

Or you can use the archive server at Adobe and get them via E-mail.
I had a need for that to rescale the Eroff .out files for Troff
and Eroff didn't come with the builtin AFM files, so a few simple
email requests to adobe and viola, I have them now.

The are available from adobe!ps-file-server, to get an AFM file
send it the message:

send AFMFiles Full-postscript-file-name

as in:
send AFMFiles Helvetica-Narrow-Bold

I found that 4 AFM files fit into one mail message nicely.
