I can see how 55MB may not be much to somebody buying a high end laser
printer with ethernet and high speed and a hard drive in it, but
I dunno, maybe it's just me, i didnt think the vast majority of laser
printer installations WERE high end ones.

A more cynical view would have it that it was QMS that bought Imagen not
the other way around.
