Recently found I could print the .PS files which came from CMU and made with
Scribe by sending them over DECNET to our LPS40. Really SLICK. Then tried
some files which came from ucb, bind package, made with DITroff, I believe.
I got source lines out, just like source lines in. Does this tell me that
there are many KINDS of Postscript (tm) and I am NOT going to use but a few
unless I buy whole different adaptation packages to convert the outputs so
they will print on any single printer. I have also had poor luck at getting
call backs from Adobe folks.
Any experiences will be greatly appreciated ( in terms of interoperability ).
