Accent codes ?

Hello,

I'm quite new to this group, but am sure one knows the answer to my question.
I have a program that generates PostScript, but it doesn't handle accents.
I would like to add by hand a few accents, that is, the following ones:

      a` a^ a" e' e` e^ e" i^ i" o^ o"
u` u^ u" and the same in uppercase, the cedilla,
and the ligatures oe and OE.

Though I ignore almost completely PostScript, I have read that there are two
ways to achieve this. The first is using the octal codes \ddd and the second
is to create a new font. The former seems simpler to me, but I was not able
to find the codes. Could some kind soul mail them to me ?

Thanks in advance,

Denis (roegel@loria.fr)
