After reading the FAQ list in this group (I enjoyed reading it), I
decided to start using 'psnup' to save some paper.  I do a lot of TeX
(even my programming, in cweb).  I use dvips to print the dvi files on
my Sparc Printer.

But I am having some problems using psnup.  The pageview program that
comes with Sun Open Windows will gladly display the result of

	dvips .... | psnup -2 

but when I spool it to the printer absolutely nothing happends.  The
result goes nowhere, and i dont't even get an error message anywhere
(The Sparc Printer software (NeWS) normally writes error messages to a
log file).

So, I hope someone out there knows what the problem might be, and will
help me save some paper/trees.

	I've had a similar experience with psnup and mp (a similar program).  
dvips embeds the showpage operator in a function called showsheet. psnup an mp 
seem to get confused by this and print only one page. I ran the ouput in
GhostScript
and saw that evryone of 300 pages was overlayed upon  one sheet. I
haven't 
come up with a work-around, so if anyone else know of a fix, I'm also
interested.
