Here at my site we have a HP LaserJet III witch PostScript Level two
connected to our unix host. The problem we have is that when someone
cancels a printjob, lp leaves the printer in some undefined state with
the printjob half-done. Could someone advice me about what I should
make my printer-script to send to the printer do some kind of reset.
Thanks in advance
/ Tomas

If it's in PostScript mode, \003\004 (^C,^D, no newline) should do the trick. -- Chris Lewis; clewis@ferret.ocunix.on.ca; Phone: Canada 613 832-0541 Psroff 3.0 info: psroff-request@ferret.ocunix.on.ca Ferret list: ferret-request@ferret.ocunix.on.ca
