Trouble including Mac PostScript files as EPSF in LaTeX.

I have been experiencing problems with the Macintosh Proc Set that comes with
MacOS version 7.0. Specifically, I am trying to include PostScript output
from Excel in a LaTeX document using epsf.sty. The PostScript output prints
on some printers but other printers complain about some of the stuff in the
Mac ProcSet:

%%DocumentProcSets: "(AppleDict md)" 71 0
%% ) Copyright Apple Computer, Inc. 1989-91 All Rights Reserved.

etc.

that gets prepended by Excel when creating a PostScript file. Does anyone out
there have a fixed Mac ProcSet that is kinder and gentler on the slew of
PostScript printers that exist in the world?

Please email replies.

Thanks,
