Does anyone have C or postscript code to generate a font metric file (.afm) for a given postscript font? If you have the .afm files for the following fonts and could send them, that would be ok: Courier(|-Bold|-Oblique|-BoldOblique) Helvetica(|-Bold|-Oblique|-BoldOblique) Times(-Roman|-Bold|-Italic|-BoldItalic) Also, in terms of the 1000 unit font coordinate system, is an object that is 1000 units equal to the font size in points? If someone has a good reference on how to interpret the .afm file, that would be nice. - Kyle -- +-"Remember, [MS]DOS is sort of a UNIX deviant already" - dmoscny@piglet.-----+ | // Only /\ kxs5829@ultb.isc.rit.edu cincinatti. | | \ // /--\MIGA kyle@nick.csh.rit.edu oh.us | | \X/ SQLdb - $40 rdbms Rochester Institute of Technology |
