Sending Postscript commands to a HP laserjet

Hello !

Our dept. got a postscipt cartridge for our HP Laserjet III. The cartridge
came (and we even replaced it once) with no good default values for
the margins. Now we should be able to send some commands to the cartridge,
but there are two problems:

	1) the password of the cartridge has been changed from it's default
value (according to the test page), and no-one knows what it is
	   now
	2) No-one is "familiar with postscript programming" (as the
manual puts it) to be able to send these commands to the
	   printer.

My question is: How do I send commands to the printer (or to be more
specific to the PS cartridge) ?

Any help appreciated
