Is it possible to print pages 3,4 and 6 only of a 10 page document using ghostscript? In other words, print a specific page or range, rather than the whole thing. -- jeremy@jacobs.cs.orst.edu (Jeremy |-) Smith) I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that... well, yes I can! It's probably prudent to note at this point that this method requires *Ghostview*, rather than plain ol' Ghostscript. The sources for both (you'll need Ghostscript to run Ghostview) can be obtained via anonFTP: prep.ai.mit.edu:/pub/gnu/ghostscript-2.4.1.tar.Z [18.71.0.38] ghostscript-fonts-2.4.1.tar.Z ghostview-1.3.tar.Z -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Adrian Ho, He With The Embarrassingly *Dead* Passion ** Phone: (510) 642-5563 System Manager, CFD Lab, ME Dept, UC Berkeley * adrianho@barkley.berkeley.edu Maintainer, Tcl/Tk Contrib Archive ---- barkley.berkeley.edu [128.32.142.237] Send all Tcl/Tk Archive-related stuff to tcl-archive@barkley.berkeley.edu

Keywords: How do you have a postscript file recognize what resolution device the output is printed on? I am trying to print a postscript file on a 2400 dpi phototypesetter? Also does anyone have a better arc command than the adobe version? The adobe version has roundoff problems when using shallow arcs. thanks from a novice postscript person barry rappaport barry@nmsu.edu Please respond to my email address.
