a2ps source needed
#378

We have a network with many machine types (Sun's, RISC6000's, HP's,
DEC's, VAX's, etc), but we only have the a2ps binary for the VAX's (wich
are now disapearing). Could someone post or mail-me the sources, or a
ftp machine and directory for the source?

Thanks in advance,

Joao Prospero Luis

a2ps problem...

Hi net,

Has anyone solved the problem of using a2ps on an LN03R (postscript
printer from DEC)? The
output is always shifted 3/4 to 1" off the top of the page. I do not
think this is a problem of
a2ps because there are other brands of postscript that also get shifted,
but maybe there is
a generic way of talking with both the LN03R and printservers (where the
output is correct)
so that both work. thanks.

Rob,

This is probably caused by your LN03R printer being set for A4 paper.

Check the switch on the back of the paper. Note that if you change the
switch, you'll need to power cycle the printer before the change takes
effect.
