Hi, I am looking for a PostScript font that would let me print text as if it is handwritten. I believe such fonts are known as "cursive" fonts. I have access to ZapfChancery, but it looks too "flourishy" ... Public-domain or shareware would be preferred. Thanks, in advance, - satyajit

LucidaHandwriting-Italic designed by Kris Holmes of Bigelow & Holmes is great for this. It's part of the LucidaBright + LucidaNewMath font set. There also some `stick-writing' PD fonts flying around, such as that by Haeberli... Berthold K.P. Horn Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA

(800)925-8840 They will take a sample of your handwriting and produce both PostScript and TrueType(boo) personal fonts. They claim that this only is for the Mac for now. The really cool thing about their technology is that the PostScript that comes out has the cursive characters connected just as if written by hand. I have seen sample output and it looks great - I have not tried the process myself yet. The cost is less than I expected. I have no connection with this company - it just seems like a cool idea. -- Michael Slade, Datavision Technologies

The Kelly Brown type 1 font recently placed on wuarchive is kind of cute...
