I would like to port a PS diagram, in plain vanilla PostScript (no %% comments, single page, etc), to Autocad or some other CAD program, since I am in the process of trying to have it machined into brass. Can anyone suggest any resources? The only 'bad' part of the code is the inclusion of fonts; if necessary they can be removed. Would I be better off just scanning a print of the picture, and forget direct computer-computer translation? The purist in me disagrees but I'll knuckle under to the inevitable. You can also write back the same drawing to a Postscript file. The commands are PSIN and PSOUT. I hope this will help Milad Saad Design Computing Unit Department of Architectural and Design Science Wilkinson Building (G04) Tel: +61-2-692-2053 The University of Sydney Fax: +61-2-692-3031 NSW 2006 AUSTRALIA E-mail: milad@archsci.arch.su.oz.au
