I hope someone can help me. I have a program that was written by someone else that uses postscript commands. When I send the files to the printer, I only get listings of the files; no graphics. I am at Purdue University. Does someone know the lpr command that will send catenated files to the printer so it will work with graphics? I hope I'm not confusing you. I could send out this program. Basically, it will print out cassette labels. You cat the program with a file that "fills in the blanks" and it should work. It works other places. I just need to know if there is some option I should choose. Thanks, Mike mfleeter@gn.ecn.purdue.edu

You probably have a "smart spooler" that automatically detects ASCII and converts it to postscript. Try prepending %! as the first line. %! (should) indicate that the following stuff is already postscript. -- Chris Lewis; clewis@ferret.ocunix.on.ca; Phone: Canada 613 832-0541 Psroff 3.0 info: psroff-request@ferret.ocunix.on.ca Ferret list: ferret-request@ferret.ocunix.on.ca
