Shifting an EPS image on the page

I've figured out how to convert a PS image to and EPS image,
(suitable to be imported to a drawing program called tgif), but how
do I shift the image around on the page? I'm sure this is a simple
operation. Changing the bounding box seems to do nothing...

The shifting of the image on the page is determined by the program that you
imported it into. Consult your manual for details.

generation of PS by xgraph

Does anyone have any comments on the PS output of the general plotting tool
xgraph? I've been working on converting the PS output of xgraph to EPS
files, yet I seem to be running into trouble. Other programs, such as
gnuplot, put out nice PS file, but I think the centering that xgraph
generates is causing me problems when I try to convert it to a EPS file.
I've tried contacting the author of xgraph, but I've gotten no response.

thanks in advance.
