Okay, bear with me - I am a very unexperienced PostScript user, and
the only PostScript book at our library is lost.. ACK!
I am trying to access files using PostScript.
I have this so far.
/fp (~/input.dat) (r) file def
/so (%stdout) (w) file def
Correct me if I am wrong, but this defines fp to read from the
~/input.dat file, while /so will print to the stdout.
Now, here is where I go screwey..
{
fp ( )
readstring
not {so exch writehexstring (\n) print exit} if
so exch writehexstring (\n) print
} loop
flush
I keep getting an invalidaccess for the readstring command.
Is there something I should be putting as an argument for fp?
suffering from severe brain drain...
