Does anyone have a program to make a PostScript file DSC compliant?

The idea is to take an arbitrary PostScript file, run it through a program and produce a DSC 3.0 compliant PS file that prints the same. You can sort of do this with a PostScript previewer by producing a bitmap for every page but that is not what I am looking for. The DSC compliant output should print the same as the original at *any* resolution. Can this be done? Has anyone done this? I am envisioning something like Glen Reid's distillery program. Well, okay, not just *any* arbitrary PS file, something that does `showpage' in a loop would be impossible to transform this way, but the vast majority of PS files aren't like that. If I can transform PS files produced by old/non-compliant versions of dvi*ps, framemaker, etc. I will be more than happy. Thanks! Bakul Shah <bvs@BitBlocks.com>
