I had some problems printing the Russian New Year's greeting posted a while
ago.  The problem stems from the fact that it seems to expect 11x17 paper.
To get it to print, I added:

  8.5 72 mul 0 translate
  90 rotate
  .75 .75 scale

This gets it to print fairly nicely on 8.5x11 paper.
