Is there any program which converts Word Perfect files into Postcript files? I bring up this question because I can only access a laser printer connected to an UNIX box. I appreciate any respones. --Shengsong Ni

Use Wordperfect itself. Select a printer in Wordperfect which matches the
postscript printer which will ultimately print your document, but define
the port which the driver will use to be a file, not a port. Voila! The
file will contain the postscript which would normally be sent to the
printer port. The details to do this are in your Wordperfect manuals
(but approximately, from memory - version 5.1):
DOS WINDOWS
* Shift-F7 File-->Print to print
* S Select select printer
* 2 (Add) Add if you must add your printer
* 3 (Edit) Setup change printer setup details
* 2 (Port) Port--> specify where output goes ...
* 8 (Other) -->File ... to a non-standard place
* Device or Filename: Filename give full path + filename
Hope this helps. Your only problem then is to get the file onto Unix :-).
