Problem with dvi2ps
#6828

I am trying to get dvi2ps running on my system. I am using dvi2ps to create
a postscript file which I then attempt to print on my Apple Laserwriter using
the transcript software. I get the following error in the log file:

psbanner: osiris:root  Job: book.ps  Date: Fri Jan 22 14:55:55 1988
psif: osiris:root laser start - Fri Jan 22 14:56:00 1988
^C
/usr/lib/lpd: lp: Daemon Filter 'f' Malfunction (2)
psif: accounting error 2 (^C
%%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%
)

Hardware:	SUN 3/280S
Op Sys:		SUN 3.4
Tex Version:	2.0 for Berkeley Unix

Can anyone help me out here? I suspect that I may not have my TeX version
installed correctly, but the dvi file which I used here prints ok on my
Imagen with the dvi2imagen command. Eventually I wish to incorporate this
into the Transcript software to automatically work with the lpr -d command.

			   Thanks In Advance
