Process.c for 6.1.1 ?

Does anyone have an implimentation of a system call out to spawn
a subprocess for Unix (Sun 3)?  I'd really like to get out to the OS
to do some odds and ends, and I don't see it in the code for 6.1.1.

Is it in/planned-for 6.2 ?
